Debra Howard has delivered hundreds of presentations over the course of her career. Most have been for client organizations and invitation-only events. From time to time, she accepts requests to speak to audiences interested in a more interactive and in-depth experience than the YouTube-ready TED Talks that are so popular today.
In addition to being an expert on leadership, Deb is a skilled facilitator who engages people to increase their insight, learning, and interaction with one another. In person, she has a contagious energy and ability to connect with her audience. When it's preferable (or necessary) for her to present virtually, she is adept at using a range of videoconferencing and online tools to maintain interest and increase participation.
Her favorite speaking engagements are for small groups of people who already know one another, and better yet, who work together and are interested in learning more about their colleagues, in addition to the material she presents.
Deb has presented at annual conferences (such as the American Society for Training and Development, Inside NGO, and the Association of Science-Technology Centers); at regional association meetings; and at many company, nonprofit, and foundation annual events and retreats—in person and virtually.
